Does your child need a surgical or medical procedure that requires anesthesia? Our doctors have just the right approach, based on their highly specialized pediatric training and experience. We understand how “going under” might be stressful for some children, so we use gentle, age-appropriate techniques to help your child relax. For example, we’ll let your child choose a favorite scent when introducing the sedative. Having a choice empowers your child to be an active participant with his or her providers.

Depending on the type of procedure involved, our pediatric anesthesiologists will explain their role and purpose to you, answering all your questions. They’re skilled in pre- and post-operative anesthesiology, as well as all non-surgical procedures that require sedation. All our providers specialize in working with infants, children and adolescents. To support their work, a team of child-family life specialists can help prepare children for their procedures.
